Perseus at The Retreat

Persesus needs attention. Positive: The Perseus and the mirrored house is lovely and environment is beautiful. Negative: Unfortunately things cannot always be perfect, but many of the detractors could have been avoided and/or we could’ve had been made aware. What could’ve have been prevented- experience should accompany a comfortable stay. The bed was very uncomfortable and needs to be updated. Memory foam mattresses break down over use and for the price of the stay, a superior mattress should be bare minimum. 80% of the interior lights did not work, though that did not impact the stay significantly, it shows that there’s lack of attention attention to detail or to the location; ie shower gel was not refilled, one roll of toilet paper (for 2.5 days for two people) was left and on our last day, the AC unit stopped cooling and woke up to an 80 degree room. We reported it with no response.
